Wrap October Up!

Hey everyone! Can you believe October is gone and it’s November?! Where has this year gone honestly!

As I write this, today was my last day of placement! I’ve just finished 13 weeks of lab work, and all I’ve got to do for uni before I’m finished for the year is write a reflective piece and write and do an oral presentation about my placement. That’s in a couple of weeks, and then I’m truly free! (Until next year of course)

Another bit of a life update, I actually got offered a casual job at the lab I’ve been doing placement at, so I’ve got a whole lot of shifts coming up in November, which is exciting, but at the same time, I didn’t expect to be getting that many hours, but I’m sure once I start to get paid I won’t be complaining. Unless it’s about the fact that I’m working three jobs now and still trying to finish these two assignments off.

Tennis competition also started back this month, and in shocking news, I’m doing absolutely terrible, but I’m still enjoying it, which is a major improvement since last season. Oh yeah October was my birthday month, so that happened, aka nothing actually happened.

Okay reading – yeah another pretty shocking month for me! But are we surprised? I finished two books, which were both Mitch Rapp books by Vince Flynn and Kyle Mills. I can’t believe I’m nearly finished this series, after the last 3 years!

I’ve started to read Shadow Frost by Coco Ma (21% done), and I’ve very much just touched on City of Lost Souls. I aim to have Shadow Frost finished by the end of next week, as I want to focus on City of Lost Souls and then moving onto City of Heavenly Fire, as I’ve decided to slightly participate in this month’s Tome Topple Readathon from the 9-22 of November. Hopefully this helps me read more and tick some more books off my TBR! I don’t know to what level I’ll be participating in the prompts but I’m going to try my best. I haven’t fully figured out my TBR yet, but I may write a short post on that soon!

Hope everyone’s reading month was better than mine! Let me know in the comments if there’s any readathon’s you’re going to participate in!
